Hospital Project
As one of the key livelihood projects in Xi'an, the North Campus of Xi'an Honghui Hospital, which has been under construction for two years, has been opened for trial operation on April 21st to provide more comprehensive, thoughtful and quality medical and health services for the people in the area. ENZE is honoured to be entrusted with this project as security and aesthetics are of paramount importance in the design and use of the building.

Project Overview and Architectural Description: The completion of Xi'an Honghui Hospital will increase the supply of high-quality medical resources, balance the layout of high-quality medical resources, and help Xi'an build a "Belt and Road" international medical center, which is conducive to further improve the city's, the province's, and the surrounding provinces and regions of the people's access to healthcare environment, and to satisfy the people's growing demand for medical care and health.

Challenge
During the design process of Xi'an Honghui hospital construction projects, we faced many challenges. First of all, we need to consider how to reflect Xi'an's unique historical culture and architectural style in the design, while incorporating modern elements. In the design of the renderings, we needed to accurately copy the architectural style of Xi'an, paying attention to details and precision to ensure that the design conformed to the local architectural style.
Regarding material selection, we must take into account the climatic conditions in Xi'an and opt for aluminum baffle ceiling materials that are fire-resistant and corrosion-resistant. In addition to that, we should also consider the sound-absorbing properties of the materials to ensure that the hospital building can provide excellent environmental quality.

Solution
When building a hospital, it is vital to consider the safety and well-being of patients and staff. One of the key aspects to focus on is the materials used in construction, especially when it comes to corrosion-resistant, sound-absorbing and fire-resistant solutions.
We opted for aluminum clip ceiling & aluminum baffle ceiling system. We implemented the aluminum clip ceiling system in both the corridor and ward areas, while the aluminum baffle ceiling was put in place in the hall area.
